As outlined in the Council Charter, the Executive Committee assists the Chair and Vice-Chair in the governance of the Council “on internal business matters such as developing agendas for Council meetings, maintaining the Council website, supporting communications, holding elections, responding to requests from Council members or constituencies, and establishing workgroups.” The Executive Committee is comprised of one representative from each of the Council constituencies, or an alternate designee for open constituencies. The term for the Executive Committee is one year, beginning on October 1 and ending September 30 of the following year. This year’s term will be slightly abbreviated as we return to the normal schedule.
