Dan Beasley is a utility industry leader with more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of data, operations, and emerging technology. He specializes in helping utilities unlock business value through advanced data strategies, geospatial intelligence, and AI-driven workflow transformation.
Dan is currently focusing on applying Agentic AI and spatial intelligence platforms to accelerate design, planning, and operational workflows. The specific business solutions include parcel and cadastral land fabric mapping, geospatial network data management and engineering asset replacement orchestration. The outcome has been significant gains in productivity, data quality, and business value.
Over the course of his career, Dan has led more than $1 billion in network, land base, and software system engagements across the utility sector. His work spans distribution management, GIS, outage management, work scheduling, mobile systems, and enterprise data quality programs.
A recognized pioneer in utility network data quality, Dan has helped over 30 utilities modernize their data environments, improve operational performance, and reduce reliability impacts such as SAIDI through better information architecture and process optimization.
Dan brings deep expertise in business case development, capital and O&M investment strategy, data governance, and program risk management, with a proven track record of aligning technology innovation to measurable operational value.
Steve Lindley, Assistant Information Systems Director, County of Sonoma

Steve Lindley is the Assistant Information Systems Director for the County of Sonoma and has over 20 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, and technology governance across both the public and private sectors, including local government and the banking industry. He led the initiative to develop and implement the County’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy and governance framework, helping establish a structured process for evaluating AI technologies, managing risk, and supporting responsible adoption across County departments. Steve holds an MBA, a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, and numerous professional IT and cybersecurity certifications.
