CGIA Needs Leaders

At the March 2022 meeting of the GIS Council we decided to begin working more closely with the California Geographic Information Association (CGIA) towards our common goals. CGIA now has openings for its Board of Directors and for the Board Officer – Vice Chair position. These are important roles and leadership opportunities for the California GIS community of practice. They are two-year positions and the term of service will begin in July 2022. Self nominations are welcome, or you can nominate a colleague who just may respond to your nudge toward leadership and volunteer service in the professional community.
