Join us on Tuesday, December 15 at 11:30 a.m. to learn about the new Digital Atlas of California Native Americans on the website of the California Native American Heritage Commission http://nahc.ca.gov/cp/. Created at the California Department of Parks & Recreation with generous financial support from the DRAM Antitrust Settlement, this web map application displays a collection of map layers related to the history and cultural heritage of Native Americans in California. The presenter is Jason MacCannell who serves as a Special Assistant to the Director of California State Parks and was a Special Assistant for Research in the office of Governor Jerry Brown.
Please register at this link and you will receive a Teams meeting invitation by email. (This won’t be instantaneous but you will receive it as soon as possible.)
The presentation will last for about 25 minutes and we’ll keep the meeting open afterwards for questions and conversation. This webinar is presented by the Tribal Workgroup of the California GIS Council; Donna Begay serves as the workgroup chair.
Please contact ca.gis.council.chair@gmail.com if you have any questions.
