Fire information for CA

Hi,

I wanted to pass along some information for anyone interested in following the CA fires.

DOI has the following Web Maps. These are collections of various webmaps coming from NIFC, CalOES, local public safety authorities, etc.

Some lidar is available for parts of these areas–Lake County, City of Redding, Rim Fire area (north of the Ferguson), etc. See the Interagency Viewer for footprints and access.

HDDS is serving imagery as soon as it comes available:

A tutorial for using HDDS is available at our youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9z5Ebi6XnSw&feature=youtu.be

Regards, and stay safe,

Carol
