Hello Everyone:
The FY16/FY17 Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) has been released. The BAA provides detailed information on how to partner with the USGS and other Federal agencies to acquire high-quality 3D Elevation data.
A public webinar to share details and answer questions on the release is scheduled on August 15, 2016. Details on 3DEP and the BAA are posted on http://nationalmap.gov/3DEP/. The site also has further details on the webinar including registration and time.
We also plan to host some additional Pacific/Southwest Region-specific webinars to take a closer look at requirements in CA, NV, AZ, HI, and Pacific Basin; information on this will be shared shortly.
3DEP continues to utilize the NOAA sponsored Seasketch: U.S. Federal Mapping Coordination – A Demonstration Site for Federal Mapping Data Acquisition Coordination) site for planning, coordinating partnerships, and tracking elevation data acquisition projects.
