Siqin (Sisi) Wang, Ph.D., GISP, Associate Professor at Spatial Sciences Institute, USC

Dr Siqin (Sisi) Wang is Associate Professor at Spatial Sciences Institute, University of Southern California, US, double afflicted to University of Queensland and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia as Adjunct Associate Professor. Her current professional roles include service as the Research Associate at Harvard Centre for Geographic Analysis, and Co-Chair of the Spatial Data Lab at NSF Spatiotemporal Innovation Center. Her research interest is computational social science and human-environment interactions via GeoAI and advanced spatial simulation, where she has 120+ publications. Her work was funded by US NIH, NSF, Japan Society of Promotion of Sciences, Australian Urban Research Institute and Network, and IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) chapter of Morocco. She was awarded as Geospatial World 50 Rising Stars, International Geographic Union - Modelling Geographical Systems Commission (IGU-MGSC) Excellent Young Scholar Award, and Top 20 Global Frontier Science and Technology Young Scientist Award, and the US Presidential Volunteer Service Award.

Christopher Moravec, Chief Technology Officer, dymaptic, Oregon

Christopher Moravec is an expert problem-solver and technology innovator who specializes in turning complex challenges into elegant solutions. As the CTO and founder of dymaptic, an Esri Gold Partner, he combines his passion for building software with his expertise in GIS and AI technologies. Known for his creative approach to engineering challenges—from developing enterprise mapping solutions to creating whimsical inventions like candy-dispensing robots—Christopher brings both technical precision and innovative thinking to every project he undertakes.

Dr. Sarigai (Rose) Sarigai, Researcher, University of California, Santa Barbara’s Center for Spatial Science

Dr. Sarigai (Rose) Sarigai is a researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara’s Center for Spatial Science and the academic coordinator of the UCSB Guide project. Her work focuses on GIScience, GeoAI, web GIS, and geovisualization to enhance how spatial data are delivered, explored, communicated, and taught. Dr. Sarigai’s recent work includes GeoAI curriculum development, spatial analysis benchmarking projects, and the development of interactive, open-source geovisualization frameworks, as well as leading the UCSB Guide.
