  • Navigating Your Promotion - Transition Strategies - Promotion to a new leadership role presents an exciting opportunity as well as some daunting challenges. A new leader takes on the important task of guiding a team towards success, which requires strong leadership skills and a deeper understanding of what contributes to a team’s effectiveness.

This session will provide the knowledge and tools to address the fundamental challenges during the crucial first months in a leader role.

Participants can expect to learn about:

        • The key roles and tasks of a frontline leader
        • What leadership and management skills to strengthen
        • Strategies to ensure a successful transition to the leader role
        • How to create a personalized to do list that promotes personal success as a leader

This session would be a helpful professional development opportunity for new supervisors, those individuals that are about to be promoted or those interested but not currently seeking a promotion
