The 2023 CGIA Awards were presented at the 2023 CalGIS Conference in Monterey, CA. These award recognize excellence in the fields of GIS within California, and have been an ongoing tradition for CGIA.

Exemplary Use of GIS: Andrew Sims, City of Pasadena
Outstanding Geospatial Web Application: Srinivasa Jalaparti, Sempra Energy Utilities
Excellence in Teaching: Dr. Soheil Boroushaki, California State University, Northridge
Chair’s Award: Jacob Mark, Woolpert
