Geographic Information Systems Specialist at LACDA

The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) is a dynamic, innovative agency created in 1982 by the Board of Supervisors to generate affordable housing, community, and economic development throughout Los Angeles County and participating cities.

Under the supervision of the GIS/HIF systems Supervisor within the Information Technology Unit, to maintain and enhance a computer-based Geographic Information System (GIS) and other assigned information systems for the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA). This position is primarily responsible for creating maps and images used for community development planning and housing, generating reports, geocoding addresses for mapping purposes, creating and maintaining web mapping applications, and maintaining in-house developed systems.
