Placer County Water Agency encompasses the entire, 1,500-square-mile boundary of Placer County, ranging from the rim of the Sacramento Valley on the west to the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe on the east. The Agency is headquartered in Auburn and carries out a broad range of responsibilities including water resource planning and management, retail and wholesale supply of irrigation water and drinking water, production of hydroelectric power and watershed stewardship across Placer County.

PCWA is seeking a talented individual to perform professional level work in support of the Agency’s Geographic Information System related to planning, customizing, organizing and maintaining GIS databases and associated software and hardware. Responsibilities will include generating and analyzing spatial data, creating maps, reports and graphical presentations and providing advanced support to end users. Our ideal candidate for this highly desirable career opportunity will possess three to five years of related experience providing GIS end-user support, including experience with Esri-based GIS software applications and databases.
