CalFire GIS Job in Sacramento

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) - Fire and Resource Assessment Program (FRAP) is currently looking to fill the position of Enterprise GIS Analyst II / Research Data Analyst II

Primary Role of the job:

To manage CAL FIRE GIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online data and services, create maps, web based dashboards, applications and other displays using GIS tools and automated processes for communicating department projects and policy information.

The selected candidate would join the FRAP team, whose objectives are to maximize the effectiveness, accuracy, and value of geospatial information and services to support the FRAP mission in assessing forest and rangeland conditions in California, identifying causal factors and policy options for improving conditions, and supporting resource assessment.
