Devon Hedemark the GIS Manager of the City of Redding and his team were nominated for outstanding internet application award because of the impact and use their Carr Fire Activity Map had on the public and people around the world focusing in on the destruction of the Carr Fire.
The team's interactive map using ESRI's web app builder has seen over 1 million views and has been used numerous times in major publications.
