The City is currently accepting applications for a part-time Hourly Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Aide position in the Public Works Department.

This hourly, at-will position works approximately 15 – 18 hours per week, and will not to exceed 1,000 hours per fiscal year.

The ideal candidate shall:

• Have experience using ArcMap(.mxd files), to create maps analyze spatial data, and edit feature locations, attributes and annotations; 
• Possess Experience in georeferencing (.tiff files) to create digitized data, preferably with experience digitizing utility data from engineering drawings; 
• Be detail oriented and responsible for data accuracy; 
• Have experience answering questions and supporting decisions regarding maps; 
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; and, 
• Be a team player who works well with others, is motivated,  and provides excellent customer service.
