California Native American Tribal GIS Summit 2025

CA Tribal GIS and CA State Water Resources Control Board is co-hosting the 1st California Native American Tribal GIS Summit 2025.  On July 31 and August1, 2025.  Our Summit's theme - "Honoring Place, Empowering Nations" - focusing on the use of GIS in managing natural resources and protection of cultural landscapes.  We will be hosting event in the Cal/EPA Building the Inaugural California Native American Tribal GIS Summit 2025. This event is free and portions of the summit will be both on-site and virtual.  Our Summit’s website is GIS Summit or https://catribalgis.org/gis-summit-1  We encourage CGIA Members to register as "virtual" participants.  Attached is current summit's current listing of participants title and Tribe/Organization/School, agenda, and presentation descriptions.
