{"id":883,"date":"2018-11-07T10:32:05","date_gmt":"2018-11-07T18:32:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cgia.org\/cagiscouncil\/?p=883"},"modified":"2018-11-07T10:32:05","modified_gmt":"2018-11-07T18:32:05","slug":"calgis-2019-call-for-presentations-and-workshop-proposals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cgia.org\/cagiscouncil\/2018\/11\/07\/calgis-2019-call-for-presentations-and-workshop-proposals\/","title":{"rendered":"CalGIS 2019 Call for Presentations and Workshop Proposals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #3d4957;\">The California URISA Chapters and the California Geographic Information Association (CGIA) are pleased to invite workshop and presentation proposals for<strong> CalGIS 2019, the milestone 25th annual event\u00a0which will take place April 8-10 at the DoubleTree Hilton in Fresno, California.<\/strong> This event will have a focus on transportation GIS, including multi-modal ( bikes, mopeds, pedestrian, public transit, etc.) but many other areas of interest will be included as well.\u00a0 \u00a0There is interest in holding a forum of the regional GIS councils at this event, and the leaders of those groups are especially encouraged to participate. Please contact the program chair\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jane.schafer-kramer@norcalurisa.org\">jane.schafer-kramer@norcalurisa.org<\/a>\u00a0if interested. We&#8217;d love to see a presence of the California GIS Council there as well!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #3d4957;\">The CalGIS 2019 educational program is developed through a peer review of submissions received.
