Invitation to submit FY18 Public 3DEP Areas of Interests (AOIs) to Seasketch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) continues to utilize the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seasketch.org\/#projecthomepage\/5272840f6ec5f42d210016e4\">NOAA sponsored\u00a0Seasketch:\u00a0 U.S. Federal Mapping Coordination \u2013 A Demonstration Site for Federal Mapping Data Acquisition Coordination)<\/a>\u00a0site for planning, coordinating partnerships, and tracking elevation data acquisition projects.\u00a0 The system supports the maintenance and publishing of<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mapping Priorities: Needs, Requirements<\/li>\n<li>Planned and Ongoing Mapping Projects<\/li>\n<li>Existing Data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>USGS anticipates funding another round of projects through the USGS Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for 3DEP in FY18. \u00a0The FY18 BAA is expected to be released through\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/grants.gov\/\">grants.gov<\/a>\u00a0and FedBizOpps (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fbo.gov\/\">www.fbo.gov<\/a>) in\u00a0early August\u00a02017.\u00a0 Public webinars to share details and answer questions on the FY18 release will be held in\u00a0mid\u00a0August 2017;
