A Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) is FEMA&#8217;s official modification to an effective FIRM. LOMRs can result in a physical change to the existing regulatory floodway, the effective Base Flood Elevations (BFEs), or the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA). This webinar will provide information on the LOMR review process. ASFPM established a subcommittee of its Mapping and Engineering Standards Committee to support the CTP program. This subcommittee is co-chaired by Brooke Seymour, P.E., CFM (Mile High Flood District) and Maria Lamm, CFM (South Carolina Department of Natural Resources). The goals are to help identify mechanisms to measure successes and share best practices among mapping partners.
