{"id":36093,"date":"2020-10-02T10:04:09","date_gmt":"2020-10-02T17:04:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cgia.org\/cagiscouncil\/?page_id=36093"},"modified":"2023-06-27T15:11:55","modified_gmt":"2023-06-27T22:11:55","slug":"next-generation-9-1-1-working-group","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cgia.org\/cagiscouncil\/workgroups\/next-generation-9-1-1-working-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Next Generation 9-1-1 Working Group"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Mission Statement<\/strong>:<br>The NG9-1-1 CGC WG seeks to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide guidance to NG9-1-1 GIS Task Force<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in defining the standard addressing practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in defining the framework schema for an NG9-1-1 Statewide Addressing Geodatabase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop recommendations for the implementation, operation, maintenance, stewardship, and funding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner to provide educational opportunities on related topics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve as a conduit for collaboration between public, private, NGO and academic institutions for the successful implementation of the State&#8217;s NG911 GIS program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vision Statement<\/strong><br>Facilitating partnerships at the local level (at a GIS data creation level), can foster the largest impact on the implementation of California\u2019s NG9-1-1 Program.
