This year we are hosting our 15th Annual GIS Day event on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, and we want you to JOIN US!
This year’s theme is Mapping LA County’s Story. The event is designed for county residents, students, GIS professionals, and other members of the public to learn more about:
- How county and city governments use GIS to make better decisions.
- Opportunities for studying GIS at local universities and colleges; and
- How GIS technology is improving our daily lives.
LA County GIS Day showcases more than 50 agencies and include live presentations, videos, exhibits, games with prizes. A few things to note about our virtual event:
- All attendees, whether you’re a speaker, exhibitor, participating in the map expo, or just listening in, will register in advance (HeySummit registration link is coming soon!) to receive the links for the live presentations and online GIS Day content.
- The Map Gallery will be an online expo hall where individuals can submit a digital map.
- Companies, Organizations and Academic Institutions may register to participate in our Virtual Exhibit Hall with a branded webpage to showcase on our GIS Day event page. (A template will be provided to all exhibitors).
If your organization is interested in being an exhibitor, a sponsor, wish to present or display a digital map, please complete this interest form by Monday, October 10, 2022. Our GIS Day Committee will follow-up with more information once we have received your completed form.
