It’s almost here, the premier GIS conference all about California!

If you haven’t registered, there is still time.  Check out the pre-conference workshops and sessions starting Monday June 1st in beautiful downtown Sacramento.  There is something for everyone to see and learn.

If you’re already planning on attending, you are in for another awesome conference.  The pre-conference workshops will give you an opportunity to learn new things and the sessions are a great way to find out how your colleagues are using GIS in new and amazing ways.

We have some fun activities added again this year. There is the Geo DevMeet Up hosted by Esri on Monday evening at the Hackerlab, at 1715 I St.  This event is a social gathering for everyone to meet and discuss the latest in mapping, geo technology, geo services, web and mobile mapping apps, app design, cloud solutions, map data or anything else related to solving real-world “geo” problems.

Tuesday evening we will be having another geo-caching event, always lots of fun.

On Wednesday morning Michael Baker International is again hosting our annual CalGIS Bike Ride.  Please stop by their booth in the exhibit hall to sign up, first come basis.

And the most important benefit of all is the opportunity for networking with your peers, we can all learn from each other.  Hope to see you there….
