The in-person meeting will be held in Sacramento in the John Muir Conference Room, 20th Floor, 801 K Street. Web Conferencing information is listed on the second page of the agenda.
The featured speaker for the meeting is Anne Rosinski of the California Geological Survey who will discuss the California Earthquake Clearinghouse. In keeping with the emergency response theme, we will also discuss the formation of new workgroups focusing on Public Safety and Next Gen 911. We will also have an update from the state Office of the GIO on some of their new data initiatives. Finally, we will also discuss and vote on some amendments to the Council Charter, clarifying the terms for the Council officers. The amendments may be found here:
