CA GIS Council – user name load from listserv

Hello,

At the last GIS Council meeting, the members of the council agreed to load the current email list from the CA GIS Council listserv, of which you are a part, as usernames in the Council Website (which is why you are getting this email).
This will eliminate the duplicate effort of reaching out to the California GIS community to notify you of Council activities such as meetings, workgroup updates, and members of the forums.  You will receive occasional updates from the site as we publish information, and invite you to join us at Council meetings as we strive to improve GIS across the State!

Important information!

Current members on the site – a few of you may have had your passwords overwritten – please follow the instructions below, but use your existing usernames.

Your username is the text that precedes the @ symbol in your email address.  So – if your email address is john.doe@gmail.com, your username is john.doe

For security purposes passwords have been assigned but are not known to me, so please follow these steps to reset your password and fill in relevant information.

lost_passwordStep 1:  Request a new password.  Click here to go to the lost password page

You will receive an email that will instruct you how to reset your password (either with your username or email)

Step 2: Log in and update your profile information – this will help us locate Council members, and find out the breadth of the GIS community.  This is, of course, optional.

Last, but not least.

If you have any questions, or wish to be removed from this site, please contact me and I can do that.

Thank you!
