The polls have closed for endorsement of Senate Joint Resolution 18 regarding the use of UAS for drought response, as proposed by the UAS/Drone Policy Workgroup. Thirty-four Council members voted with the results as follows:
Yes: 29
No: 3
Abstain: 2
With this vote, the motion to endorse is carried and GIS Council chair Mark Greninger has sent the attached letter to the resolution’s sponsor, Senator Lois Wolk.
