Hi there – we were notified of a potential security vulnerability in the CA GIS Council site, which involved password being sent as clear text. We have implemented a fix, which may require you to reset your password – it could very well be the same password as before.
It looks like the old method stored the passwords in plain text and the new secure method is storing them as a hash. Everyone who has created an account so far will need to reset their passwords in order to log into the site.
