CGIA Event: Tour of plane that captures aerial imagery (1/27/17)

The next CGIA event is planned and it is just around the corner! Capture of high resolution aerial imagery for Los Angeles County will commence within the next month and EagleView is kind enough to arrange a tour of their twin engine plane for CGIA members! We'll get to check out the camera sensors used to capture orthogonal imagery, oblique imagery, and/or infrared.

"Ever Wonder How Aerial Imagery is Captured?
Learn how imagery is captured when varying resolutions are needed
"Why is Imagery captured at Different Altitudes"
Learn How a imagery capture is flight planned and the challenges that come with that plan.
"What are all the equipment components used to capture imagery"
Learn the various processes and equipment used to capture imagery from a small plane.

Date: January 27, 2017
Time: 7:45 AM (Why so early? So we do not disrupt capture schedule and cut into optimal sunlight hours.)
